Fiction’s about what it is to be a human being

In 1993, David Foster Wallace told Larry McCaffery, “Fiction’s about what it is to be a human being.” Using
Hedwig ci- the Angry Inch and one other work, what did we read for class this semester that most exemplifies
what it means to be human? What does being human mean to you? (Ifyou do not think that Hedwig falls
into this category, skip it. You must write about Hedwig for the final, but this gives the Opportunity to bring
in something else as well. You may not write about the story that was the focus of your research paper.)
